Espresso & Kahlua Ice Cream

If you’re a coffee lover, this Espresso & Kahlua Ice Cream is going to be your new favourite dessert. It’s super smooth and creamy and super rich in coffee flavour. And the bonus, it’s only 4 ingredients and you don’t even need an ice cream maker.

Ingredients
 
 

  • 1 Tin Sweetened Condensed Milk (385g)
  • 3 Tbsp Instant Espresso Powder
  • ¼ Cup Kahlua Coffee Liqueur Omit if you do not consume alcohol
  • 2 Cups Fresh Whipping Cream
  • Chocolate fudge sauce for serving Optional

Instructions

  • Place a glass or plastic storage dish/container will a well fitting lid in the freezer to chill while you make the ice cream
  • Combine the condensed milk, instant espresso powder and Kahlua in a bowl. Mix until the coffee dissolved and all the ingredients are well combined and set aside
  • Pour the cream into a large bowl and with an electric hand mixer or your stand mixer, whip the cream until still peaks
  • Gently fold the condensed milk mixture into the whipped cream, a bit at a time, and trying not to remove all the air you have whipped into the mixture. Do not over mix
  • Once just combined, pour the mixture into your chilled container, place the lid on and place in the freezer for at least 4 – 6 hours, or preferably overnight, to set
  • Serve with chocolate fudge sauce or your choice of topping, or as is*

Notes

*This ice cream makes a delicious iced coffee or milkshake as well
