Ingredients
- 1 Tin Sweetened Condensed Milk (385g)
- 3 Tbsp Instant Espresso Powder
- ¼ Cup Kahlua Coffee Liqueur Omit if you do not consume alcohol
- 2 Cups Fresh Whipping Cream
- Chocolate fudge sauce for serving Optional
Instructions
- Place a glass or plastic storage dish/container will a well fitting lid in the freezer to chill while you make the ice cream
- Combine the condensed milk, instant espresso powder and Kahlua in a bowl. Mix until the coffee dissolved and all the ingredients are well combined and set aside
- Pour the cream into a large bowl and with an electric hand mixer or your stand mixer, whip the cream until still peaks
- Gently fold the condensed milk mixture into the whipped cream, a bit at a time, and trying not to remove all the air you have whipped into the mixture. Do not over mix
- Once just combined, pour the mixture into your chilled container, place the lid on and place in the freezer for at least 4 – 6 hours, or preferably overnight, to set
- Serve with chocolate fudge sauce or your choice of topping, or as is*
Notes
*This ice cream makes a delicious iced coffee or milkshake as well
